In a world where success often begins in big cities, Pari Choudhary from Jaipur proved that dreams stitched with courage can outshine any limitation.
Raised in a typical middle-class household, Pari was expected to choose a conventional career doctor, engineer, or civil servant. But deep inside, she nurtured a creative spark that couldn’t be confined by expectations. Today, that same spark has grown into Bunaai, a women’s wear brand now clocking over ₹33 crore in revenue, inspiring thousands of women to believe in the power of self-made success.
From Passion to Purpose
Pari’s journey began in 2014 while pursuing her Master’s degree in Delhi. Alongside academics, she explored her artistic instincts taking courses in fine arts, photography, and visual design. Social media became her canvas, and influencer marketing became her playground long before it was mainstream.
As she attended major fashion events like Amazon Fashion Week, she realized that the digital world could be a bridge between creativity and commerce. But after moving back to Jaipur, she faced a new reality influencer marketing was still an alien concept outside metros.
Building Bunaai from Scratch
Determined not to let geography define her dreams, Pari decided to create her own path. With just ₹53,000, two sewing machines, and three helpers, she launched Bunaai in 2016 with a modest collection of 13 dresses.
To her surprise, everything sold out within a week. That was the beginning of a revolution stitched in confidence and hard work.
“I did everything myself from painting the walls to designing the dresses. Every step felt like a new dream coming alive,” Pari recalls.
What started as a four-person team is now a thriving ecosystem of over 1,000 people, including 400+ full-time employees and numerous women artisans across India.
Innovation Through Influence
Pari’s early understanding of influencer marketing became Bunaai’s biggest strength. Instead of relying on traditional advertising, she used her online presence to connect with women across India. Her brand spoke the language of authenticity, comfort, and cultural pride.
As remote work took over during the pandemic, Bunaai’s loungewear and nightwear collections saw explosive growth, doubling its revenue from ₹15 crore to ₹33 crore in a single year.
Empowering Women, One Stitch at a Time
Beyond its financial success, Bunaai represents hope for women artisans and creators. The brand employs hundreds of women, empowering them with stable income and creative freedom.
For Pari, every piece of clothing is a story one that celebrates womanhood, culture, and resilience.
“Our customers stayed with us through every challenge. Their trust became our strength,” she says.
Inspiring the Next Generation of Women Entrepreneurs
Today, Bunaai stands as a symbol of what’s possible when passion meets purpose. Pari’s story is more than a business success; it’s a reminder that women can redefine industries, uplift communities, and turn creativity into impact.
At Take Care International Foundation, we believe stories like Pari’s ignite the spark for the next generation of women to rise not just as entrepreneurs, but as changemakers.
