NOVEMBER 13TH – WORLD KINDNESS DAY

The Globe Compassion Movement established World Kindness Day in 1998 to encourage kindness across the world. It is celebrated yearly on November 13 as part of the World Kindness Movement.

Try to promote and disseminate this vital trait that brings people of all kinds together on a day dedicated to the good potential of both great and little acts of kindness. Every year on November 13th, World Kindness Day is observed. It’s an international holiday celebrated in numerous nations, including the United States, Canada, Australia, Italy, and India, among others.

The World Kindness Movement initially established World Kindness Day as a day of commemoration. The organization was officially registered as a non-governmental organization (NGO) under Swiss legislation in 2019, although its history dates back to a Tokyo-based convention in 1997. Because of their commitment to advocating kindness in society, a diverse group of organizations and associations from Australia, Thailand, the United States, and the United Kingdom gathered for this conference.

According to the World Kindness Movement, the goal of World Kindness Day is to “promote good activities in the society by emphasizing on the positive force and common thread of kindness that unites us.” The day has gained true worldwide recognition since its inception more than two decades ago, with activities related with it attracting participation from every inhabited continent.

While the day is now observed on an unofficial basis, the World Kindness Movement hopes to gain formal recognition from the United Nations. World Kindness Day would join the ranks of recognized days of commemoration such as International Day of Peace, Human Rights Day, and World Health Day if the group is successful in its efforts.
